The saying goes that skin problems are like the tip of an iceberg; we can only see a small portion on the surface, while the real issue lies hidden deep within the skin. Traditional Chinese medicine addresses these underlying problems with internal medications, but it requires great patience to deal with potential changes.
Roughly 10% of patients achieve astonishing results, but not everyone experiences such miraculous responses; there is no magic cure-all.
Another 30% of patients do not respond well, which may be related to the dosage of internal and external medications or unique circumstances that hinder their progress. Fortunately, these patients are willing to come back weekly for treatment adjustments, and I feel fortunate to have such dedicated patients.
The remaining 60% gradually improve, but their conditions fluctuate with factors like daily routines, stress, emotions, diet, and seasonal changes. We have not fully resolved their issues, but we give our all and accompany every patient through this challenging journey!
Statistics are just ratios for doctors, but for patients, it represents their entire life. Therefore, we spare no effort, whether it’s in the differential diagnosis and treatment with internal medications, the improvement of topical medications, or even experimenting with new drugs. We never stop trying, and when faced with difficulties, we rely on the encouragement of our patients to keep moving forward!
